Murgh Musallam

Murgh musallam, a droolworthy and catchy chicken curry from Awadhi cuisine..The word Musallam means “whole” and Murgh means “chicken” is a rich creamy dish chicken dish which is quite famous from Awadhi Cuisine. The dish has derived its name through the process of cooking whole chicken in a creamy sauce and an interesting combination of spices that result in a rich succulent dish that is mildly spicy and tastes amazing when paired up with plain cooked basmati rice, pulao or as a side to go with rotis. I used chicken pieces instead of whole chicken but the taste was delicious. The colour of the dish itself says how delicious this chicken curry would have tasted na, yep we enjoyed having this delectable murgh musallam with rice for our sunday's lunch and with rotis for dinner...One more delicious chicken curry to try and this curry is quite different from our usual chicken gravies...Eventhough the cooking process and the ingredients lists seems very long, this murgh musallam tastes truly soooo delicious, its really worth to try this dish..Sending to Sameena's Chicken Recipes..

PASSION- an incarnate of purity

I see so many multifaceted people around me and admire the drive to be so.....like Deepika padukone- badminton, modelling, movies - i like her will to do them all with equal likeness and most of all the perfection. I think its all in the mind or the bring up.

Another girl, my classmate-she 's so good at photography, an MBA working in a good company, loves nature and captures them in her camera whenever possible.... a poet/writer. She amazes me with the kind of photos she clicks. Her drive to getup early in the morning to capture pure unpolluted nature. It's her pictures and words together that motivate me to achieve more and learn more in the process of living happily. In he process of doing so i learnt that I had newer areas to explore such as biking, teaching and travelling.

I guess i have a likeliness to all of them.....when something thrills me, drives me ... i like to put it in words and picture(my art) or photography. I am no great artist, not a professional at all....but yet i want to express it in someway or the other..... does every person have this drive........ is it the laziness or lack of interest that stops everyone in doing so many things. Is it all about planning ones life to cater to every emotion of heart when seen pure beauty - the push to talk it over or mould it into the above forms (art/photography/ poetry/writing). If planning was so easy everybody would be able to do all the forms.

So may be that's what we call PASSION. And passion with purity of mind and heart is what makes us cater to addressing it in whatever form that thrills us. What ever it is .....at least that's why i am sitting here doing all the blah blah...I am happy that i put it in words though.

Design of my house

This is the color of the wood we are planning to use for the whole house , white and light brown.

These are the kind of draws and storage space we expect in most of the rooms , all symmetrical and in white giving it an elegant and orderly look.

This is the kind of outdoor patio and garden we would want to create. Having only floering plants in the front and all vegetable plantations at the back of the house.

I would like to incorporate these stepwise plantation if possible.

When I saw her......!!!

It was getting late to go to school. Everyone were rushing into the narrow lane. The rikshaw wallahs , the cars and scooters and people who walked on the pavement. It was a cloudy morning and yet so pleasent with the smell of the mud , it filled our senses. We just kept walking as fast as we could.

And suddenly I looked at her walking beside me. She wore a little yellow frock, all fluffy and lacy with intricate design on every layer. She looked at me and smiled. I couldnt take my eyes off her. She wore neatly polished black shoes and white socks with little design perforations all over. She was filled with a strange radiance that caught your eye that wouldn't let you move. Her cheeks were so smooth, one who would lay hands on such cheeks and would love to feel such softness for ever.I just brushed my hand over her cheeks to re-live the gentle touch. I was taken away into a dream land where everything looked so brilliant and magnificient. We could just forget the world and spend the whole day in each others presence.

When suddenly I was awakened from my dreamland when she cried "Mom its getting late, what are you staring at me?"She spoke little sentences huffing anf puffing her way beside me, while I still walked beside her involuntarily. She just walked as fast as the little legs could carry her. I suddenly realized what a piece of beauty I had created and thanked the Almighty for giving me a gift forlife, for which I would always be indebted.

I was just then awaken from my sleep to realise that I was still in bed and it was a bright and lovely morning filled with new thoughts and inspirations for a new day.I recollected my dream and felt so happy all day long.I just prayrd that this dream would come true soon.

Nostalgia

It was a usual morning , before I started my work , I would like to see my inbox , being remembered by some one everyday is a blessing to me .

It was never a personal attachment with BITSians to me, but, it was an attachment to the place , the atmosphere , the feeling of happiness that i always felt in the thoughts of recollecting BITS.

And today Morning , my friend had posted me a site which contained all the blog sites of my batchmates.I couldn't but get mtself away from browsing throug all the blogs and remembering some wonderful times spent at BITS. I got to see some latest snaps of BITS & how much it has changed since I had passed out and about some BITsians who were double my age and how and what they feel now about BITS.

I love the rains , the soft sand , the greenary in march and the chill in the winter. BITs has always been such a beautiful place , so full of it's uniqueness.

BITS has embraced me with its beauty so much that i don't mind making a trip to this dreamland , inspite of its bad summers and chill winters . Every time I speak to a bitsian , it's the nostalgia and the attachment with the place that thrills me till day.
